I am a registered clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.  I keep up-to-date on developments in the field of psychology by frequently attending conferences, workshops, and lectures.  Please see the link, Privacy Policy, for details on our policy about managing personal information.

Experience


Prior clinical experience has involved providing psychological services in community mental health centres as well as hospitals, including: Centre for Psychological Services (University of Ottawa), Royal Ottawa Hospital, Brockville Psychiatric Hospital, Roberts-Smart Centre, Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic (Purdue University), and private practice.  


In addition, I have taught several undergraduate courses at Purdue University as well as the University of Ottawa:  e.g., Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, Lifespan Developmental Psychology, and Human Sexuality.  

Education


I completed a Ph.D. in psychology at Purdue University, where  doctoral research focused on attachment and marital satisfaction. Post-doctoral studies at the University of Ottawa included core training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples.


I also hold undergraduate degrees in Honours Psychology and Mechanical Engineering from Queen's.
